ATLAS MOUNTAIN RACE
Have you heard of an event called the ATLAS MOUNTAIN RACE?
It's a brutal, unsupported ultra-distance race, held in the unpaved Atlas Mountains of southern Morocco, stretching over 2000km, a country where African, Arab, and European cultures intersect, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain.
This year's 2020 race will start from the ancient city of Marrakesh, following a 1145km route with 20000m of elevation, passing through three checkpoints, cycling through the Atlas Mountains to Sidi R'bat, a village south of Agadir on the North Atlantic coast.
Panaracer provided the GravelKing SK Plus, a highly puncture-resistant, adventure-ready tire for Mattia, Andrea, and Federico, the trio forming a team called “Ras El Hanout,” a blended spice used in Moroccan cuisine.
