Designed for years of hard riding in an angled riding position, the Cambium C17 is a saddle for city commuting or globetrotting. The Brooks Cambium range in All Weather features a modern design and is a durable and comfortable saddle, "ready to ride" thanks to a vulcanised natural rubber top for flexible performance that follows without the need for a break-in period. From freezing rain to blazing sunshine, the waterproof, weatherproof nylon top performs perfectly in all conditions. Plus, the updated fibreglass reinforced saddle plate has loops for a saddle bag or other accessories.
The saddle plate loops can take a maximum load of 2.5 kg, please choose tail bags accordingly.

This Cambium saddle is manufactured in Italy and is guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase.

Cambium saddles are made from vulcanised natural rubber for flexible performance while riding, reducing shock and vibrations and giving the rider a better feel for the road than traditional foam or gel saddles. This construction of the Cambium mimics the leather saddle construction, thus providing a similar ‘hammock’ functionality. Comfortable. The Cambium is also maintenance-free, meaning you don't need to adjust the saddle tension. Similarly, the materials we use are unaffected by rain. Cambium saddles are also available in carved versions for riders seeking reduced perineal pressure or needing a more flexible saddle.
How do I care for and maintain my Cambium?
For the Cambium range, we recommend checking your rivets to see if they are still tight. Over time, rivets can come loose due to the vibrations of the road, although this happens rarely. Keep in mind that these saddles are hand-assembled in the factory, meaning all maintenance can be done by hand.
What if my saddle squeaks?
A squeak coming from the saddle can mean that the nose piece is rubbing somewhere on the rubber top. This can be relieved with a small amount of grease. Additionally, noise can emanate from where the rail intersects with the saddle plate via the small black rubber plug. In this case, the saddle can be reassembled, with a small amount of grease applied to the contact points.
