F.A.Q.
What is a Cambium saddle?
Cambium saddles are made of vulcanised natural rubber, which provides flexible performance while riding, reducing shock and vibration, and giving the rider a better feel for the road than traditional foam or gel saddles. This construction of the Cambium mimics the construction of leather saddles, thus providing a similar 'hammock' function. Comfortable. The Cambium is also maintenance-free, meaning you don't need to adjust saddle tension. Likewise, the materials we use are not affected by rain. Cambium saddles are also available in carved versions for riders seeking perineal pressure relief or who need a more flexible saddle.
How do I care for and maintain my Cambium?
For the Cambium range, we recommend checking your rivets to see if they are still secure. Over time, rivets may loosen due to road vibration, although this is rare. Please remember that these saddles are hand-assembled in the factory, meaning all maintenance can be done by hand.
What should I do if my saddle squeaks?
A squeak from the saddle may mean that the nose is rubbing somewhere on the rubber top. This can be alleviated with a small amount of grease. Also, noise can come from where the rails intersect the backplate through the small black rubber plugs. In this case, the saddle can be reassembled with a small amount of grease applied to the contact points.
