MATERIALS
RIDING POSITION

The C13 Carved is the lightest Cambium racing saddle ever with a unique flexible vulcanised rubber top featuring a pressure relief hole. Made with a continuous carbon rail, this racing saddle absorbs more shock and vibration than a plastic saddle with foam padding, allowing the rider more control. Our most flexible Cambium model, the C13 Carved is available in two widths and is suitable for a range of performance cycling situations.
WARRANTY
This Cambium saddle is made in Italy and guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship.
F.A.Q.
What is a Cambium saddle?
Cambium saddles are made from vulcanised natural rubber and offer a flexible performance when riding, reducing shock and vibration and offering the rider a better feel for the road than traditional foam or gel saddles. This construction of the Cambium mimics that of a leather saddle construction and therefore offers a similar ‘hammock’ function. Comfort. The Cambium is also maintenance-free, meaning you do not have to adjust the tension of the saddle. Also, the materials we use are unaffected by rain. Cambium saddles are also available in a carved version for riders seeking reduced perineal pressure or who prefer a more flexible saddle.
How should I care for and maintain my Cambium?
For the Cambium range, we would advise checking your rivets to see that they are still tight. Over time, due to vibrations from the road, the rivets could become loose, though this is a very rare occurrence. Remember, these saddles are assembled by hand at our factory, meaning all maintenance can be done by hand.
What should I do if my saddle squeaks?
A squeak from the saddle could mean that there is friction somewhere between the nose piece and the rubber top. This can be remedied with a small amount of grease. Also, noise can be produced where the rail meets the backplate via a small black rubber plug. In this instance, the saddle can be disassembled, and a small amount of grease can be applied to the points of contact.
