Precise servo motors move the derailleur cage quickly and gently back and forth and ensure fast, silent and accurate shifting operations. The E-tube connection also allows the front derailleur to automatically trim to the optimum position depending on the derailleur's position and the chainring selected, ensuring the chain never rubs against the chainring.

Note: In order to ensure proper functioning of the electronic Di2 drive system, all components require the same firmware version. The optional diagnostic device allows for reading out or updating the firmware version. Operation of components with different firmware versions may cause a malfunction or loss of function.
